Dr. Rebecca Delles

Research Scientist in Meat Chemistry,

Alltech

Dr. Rebecca Delles received a bachelor’s degree of science in medical technology from SUNY Fredonia in 2008. After completing an internship at Rochester General Hospital, she continued her graduate research at the University of Kentucky, receiving a master’s degree of science in 2010 and a doctoral degree in food science in 2013. Delles’ doctoral research investigated the influence of dietary antioxidant supplementation and oil quality on oxidative pathways, enzymatic properties and protein expression of broiler meat. She joined Alltech as a postdoctoral research scholar in December 2013. Currently, Dr. Delles works at Alltech as a research scientist in meat chemistry.

Dr. Juan Gomez-Basauri

Global Director,

Alltech Companion Animal Business

Juan Gomez-Basauri received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Universidad Federico Villarreal in Lima, Peru; a master’s degree in food science from Leeds University in Leeds, England; and a doctorate in food science from Cornell University. Dr. Juan Gomez-Basauri currently serves as global director for Alltech’s companion animal business. He has published significantly in trade journals and peer-reviewed publications and is a sought-after speaker for conferences and trade shows. He is a former chair of the American Feed Industry Association Nutrition Committee and is a member of the American Dairy Science Association, the Institute of Food Technologists and the New York Academy of Sciences.

Kami Grandeen received her bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition and her master’s degree in ruminant nutrition from the University of Idaho. Grandeen has worked at Alltech for over 10 years and has extensive experience in the livestock and pet food industries.
