Are you prepared for the challenges in this year’s harvest?
Join us as Pat Crowley reports on what is going on in the field and what the cows are telling us. Dr. Max Hawkins will report on the harvest this year and how corn silage, forages and fermented grain is looking as we close the year.
Record rainfall and high temperatures have been recorded across the Midwest this year, and looking back on the past three years, the average mycotoxins per sample has grown substantially. From drought and chopping silage in July to delayed harvest and increased mycotoxins, crops are in trouble, and producers in some regions have already begun feeding the new crop.
